We, at Omnicom Media Group Nepal, a subsidiary of OmnicomMediaGroup Australia are looking to hire for the position of People Assistant (Human Resources Assistant).


Role overview


As the People Assistant, you are responsible for supporting the HR/People team in Nepal and Australia with the day to day execution of all administrative tasks as well as strategic HR processes to ensure smooth operation. We are looking for someone who is keen to learn, takes initiative and has great organizational skills.


Some of the Key Responsibilities include:


  • Assist in the planning and organizing all the required processes and documentations for recruitment, onboarding and performance management
  • Manage and keep up to date our Performance Management System
  • Prepare and send employee contracts, letters, emails, reminders on a daily basis
  • Assist the team in calendar management, response management and survey creations as well
  • Support in planning out the onboarding experience for new employees to foster positive attitude towards company goals
  • Communicate all necessary information, policies, procedures to team in Nepal and Australia
  • Update templates, presentations and documents as required
  • Ensure all HR related information and records are up-to-date, send out daily, weekly and monthly updates
  • Manage and update all information in the company’s HR systems


Experience & Qualifications / Critical elements of success


  • University Graduate
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Good understanding of HR concepts, interest in working closely with people
  • Knowledge of Microsoft suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Detail Oriented, takes initiative and is an enthusiastic learner
  • High degree of integrity and sensitivity while dealing with information
  • Works effectively independently as well as a part of the team
