Job Title: Study Abroad Counselor

Location: On-site (Baneshwor)

Work Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Full-time)


Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Study Abroad Counsellor to provide expert guidance and support to students aspiring to pursue higher education abroad. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of study destinations including the USA, UK, Australia, Canada, Europe, and other major international markets, with a strong focus on admissions processes, visa requirements, and academic counselling. This is a customer-focused role requiring strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a results-driven approach.


Key Responsibilities:

-Provide one-on-one counselling to prospective students on studying abroad in destinations such as the USA, UK, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and various European and Asian countries.

-Offer detailed and personalized advice on course selection, university options, admission requirements, career prospects, and visa processes.

-Guide students through the entire study abroad journey—from shortlisting institutions to application submission and visa filing.

-Conduct and participate in student orientations, seminars, and info sessions for students and parents.

-Interpret and communicate university policies, country-specific education systems, and application timelines accurately.

-Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global education trends, visa regulations, scholarships, and tuition fees.

-Track and report student progress through the counselling pipeline and meet or exceed application targets.

-Collaborate with team members, partner institutions, and internal departments to deliver high-quality counselling services.

-Ensure student records are accurate and updated in the CRM or internal information systems.

-Handle policy updates, institutional changes, and government regulations relevant to international education.


Skills and Attributes Required:

-Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience in international student counselling with exposure to multiple countries.

-Strong understanding of university admission and visa processes across major study destinations.

-Demonstrated success in student conversions and visa approvals.

-Sales-driven mindset with a proven ability to meet recruitment targets.

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

-Ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds.

-Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management capabilities.

-Experience working with CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools.

-A collaborative team player with a passion for education and student success.
