Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as an Assistant Workshop Manager located in Satungal, Kathmandu. The Assistant Workshop Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day workshop operations, coordinating with the workshop team, ensuring quality control, managing inventory, and maintaining workshop safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Implementation of service quality standard, important part of strategy and procedure for smooth operation of workshop.
Ensuring workshop service team have adequately trained technicians in place to fulfill requirement of planned and non-planned service and maintenance jobs.
Ensuring vehicle problem solving and delivering procedure is performed on schedule and time.
Resolving all the service and maintenance jobs professionally and in efficient manner and ensure customer's delight.
Ensuring the correct level of supervision is available at all times and that working hours are so determined to cover normal, out of hours and contact work.
Understand about customer relationship management and make regular customer visits.
Control workshop budget and manage procurement of parts, tools, and consumables.
Ensure quality standards and customer satisfaction as per company standards.

Qualifications:

Master's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. An MBA degree will be a plus.
Minimum 5–7 years of experience in a workshop setting, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
Experience in the commercial/industrial vehicle or heavy equipment industry is preferred.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Good understanding of workshop safety regulations and compliance standards.
