- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Management or a related field.
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, and other project management methodologies.
- Experience in managing multiple projects, timelines, and budgets.
- Strong understanding of project management tools like JIRA, Trello, or Asana.
- Ability to make informed decisions quickly, manage risks, and solve complex technical issues.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strategic Responsibilities
- Business-Aligned Goals: Set clear, achievable goals aligned with organizational strategy, business objectives, and customer needs.
- Innovation Drive: Foster a culture of creativity and continuous improvement in processes, technology, and project development.
- Succession Planning: Identify high-potential team members and groom them for leadership roles.

- Policy Implementation: Oversee adherence to organizational policies, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.
- Resource Management: Work with SEM to anticipate resource needs and develop workforce plans.
- Team Building: Foster a positive, collaborative culture that motivates and aligns team members.
- Mentorship & Coaching: Guide team members in skill development, technical direction, and leadership growth.
- Performance Management: Set clear expectations, provide feedback, and conduct evaluations for team success.
- Hiring & Onboarding: Recruit and onboard top talent, ensuring a seamless transition into the team.
- Planning & Execution: Develop project plans, allocate tasks, and monitor progress for timely delivery.
- Grievance Management: Address and escalate grievances fairly and efficiently.
- Customer Focus: Ensure engineering decisions enhance user experience and deliver customer value.
- Problem Solving: Collaborate with teams to resolve technical challenges and ensure project success.
- Code Quality: Maintain high standards through code reviews, testing, and documentation.
- Process Improvement: Implement best practices to enhance development, testing, and deployment efficiency.
- Monitoring & Metrics: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as CPI and SPI for continuous improvement and compliance.
- Proven experience in managing engineering teams and delivering technical projects
- Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, especially Agile
- Excellent leadership, mentoring, and team-building skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java, C#) and frameworks
- Experience in cloud technologies, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with stakeholders across various departments
- Ability to drive technical vision and align with business objectives
- Experience with product roadmaps and technical architecture
- Familiarity with microservices architecture, containerization, and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience in managing and scaling cross-functional teams
- Background in both front-end and back-end technologies
- Experience working with global teams and handling international projects
