Job Description

Position: React Native Developer

Duty Station: Kathmandu, Nepal

We are looking for a skilled React Native Developer to produce scalable software solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional team members to develop and maintain mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms. The React Native Developer will also collaborate with other teams to design UI components and implement new features.

Duties and Responsibilities

Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile and web applications using React / React Native.
Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
Troubleshoot and debug issues, and provide timely resolution.
Optimize applications for maximum performance across different devices and platforms.
Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve your skills.
Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

Solid understanding of React and its core principles.
Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle, Android Studio.
Knowledge of state management using Redux.
Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries and APIs.
Experience with Native app development is preferable.
Exposure of tools like Git, Docker, JIRA and other similar tools would be an advantage.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in high-pressure environment is crucial.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
Ability to learn, understand and apply new technologies with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
