Job Description
Jr. Quality Assurance Automation Engineer
Responsibilities
- Analyze business and software requirements to ensure clarity and automation feasibility.
- Design, develop, and execute detailed test automation frameworks, scripts, and suites using industry-standard tools.
- Implement and maintain an effective Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM) to align testing with business objectives.
- Leverage in-depth knowledge of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and agile methodologies to design automation strategies.
- Apply expertise in QA automation methodologies, tools, and processes for efficient and scalable testing.
- Conduct automated functional and non-functional testing, including Regression Testing, Performance Testing, and Security Testing.
- Continuously optimize test scripts and frameworks to improve coverage and efficiency.
- Report and manage defects while effectively communicating automation test results using tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms.
- Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, ensuring integration of automation into the development lifecycle.
- Maintain a strong focus on delivering high-quality, reliable software solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 1.5 years of experience in QA automation and software testing.
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript).
- Hands-on experience with at least one test automation tool/framework (e.g., Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit).
- Working knowledge of Database Management Systems (DBMS) and SQL queries.
Key Skills:
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.
- Expertise in automation frameworks and test design techniques.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Jenkins, Git).
- Solid understanding of Agile Development and testing frameworks.
- Ability to proactively identify areas for automation and enhance testing efficiency.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, both written and verbal.
