Job Description

NOTE: This is an entry level position and will be remunerated as such.

Jorpati, Kathmandu


Job Summary:

A carpet manufacturing and exporting company is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operation Assistant to assist the production team across all stages of the production process. The ideal candidate will ensure timely production, maintain accurate records, and aid in coordinating with stakeholders to meet company timelines and expectations. This role involves managing operational data, inventory, and raw material preparation while providing general support to directors and sector heads as needed.


Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or equivalent formal education.
  • Basic computer knowledge with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Sheets.
  • Valid two-wheeler license and own vehicle, with driving expertise.
  • Ability to understand both written and spoken English.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.


Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor’s running or completed preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
  • Capable of working independently with an outcome-oriented mindset.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • People skills and basic management abilities.


Key Responsibilities:

Production Support

  • Assist the production team across all stages to ensure quality outputs and timely completion.
  • Report and record data related to production status periodically.
  • Input data accurately into database systems and verify existing records for accuracy.
  • Ensure raw materials and inputs are prepared and ready for production on time.
  • Follow up and coordinate with third-party stakeholders to ensure products meet timelines and quality expectations.

Inventory and Coordination

  • Aid in inventory record-keeping and management.
  • Reporting on inventory management, with a focus on identifying and addressing inefficiencies in utilization and production as they relate to inventory.

General Support

  • Manage deadlines and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Serve as floating staff to provide support to directors and sector heads for general duties as required.


Wage: NRs 17,300/-


Workdays:

Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Two-day weekend).
