Job Description
Purpose of the Role:
To deliver high-quality academic instruction, support research and project-based learning, and uphold academic integrity. The role ensures curriculum alignment, student support, and active contribution to institutional development.
Key Responsibilities:
Teaching & Learning:
- Deliver lectures using effective pedagogical tools (e.g., slides, mind maps, notes).
- Conduct interactive and practical classes in line with academic schedules.
- Facilitate online and in-person assessments, quizzes, and activities.
Assessment & Documentation:
- Prepare and grade assignments, internal tests, and final exams.
- Submit reports such as EMR, IMF, and CMS with accuracy and timeliness.
- Act as first or second marker for academic evaluations.
Mentoring & Supervision:
- Guide students on academic and research projects like IRs and FYPs.
- Offer mentorship on writing, data analysis, and presentations.
Curriculum & LMS Management:
- Support course content development.
- Manage Moodle or LMS for academic content and assessments.
Research & Academic Enrichment:
- Guide literature reviews and research methodology.
- Connect theory with practice through applied learning techniques.
Workshops & Extra-Curricular Engagement:
- Conduct training sessions and preparatory events for students.
- Lead skill-building and enrichment programs.
General Responsibilities:
- Participate in institutional duties such as orientation, exams, and QA activities.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors or management.
Job Specification
- Master's degree Information Technology (preferred)
- Prior teaching experience at undergraduate/postgraduate level is an advantage
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Classroom and online teaching proficiency
- Strong organizational and documentation abilities
- Research guidance and mentoring skills
- Familiar with LMS platforms (Moodle), MS Office, data analysis tools
