Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Officer to drive partnerships, sponsorships, and revenue growth for our tech events, media platforms, and digital initiatives. The role involves identifying business opportunities, building strategic relationships, and expanding the company’s presence in the ICT ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in tech events, media, and digital platforms
- Generate revenue through sponsorships, partnerships, advertisements, and collaborations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate partners, government stakeholders, startups, and tech communities
- Lead outreach and pitching for events, conferences, and media campaigns
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and partnership decks
- Coordinate with marketing and content teams to align business strategies
- Manage client accounts and ensure successful delivery of commitments
- Conduct market research to identify trends in ICT, media, and events
- Represent the company in meetings, networking events, and industry forums
- Achieve monthly and annual sales/revenue targets
Job Specification
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, IT, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships (preferably in tech/events/media)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Proven track record of achieving sales or partnership targets
- Good understanding of Nepal’s ICT ecosystem, startups, and corporate sector
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Proficiency in MS Office, presentations, and CRM tools
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in event management or media sales
- Network within corporate houses, tech companies, and government agencies
- Proposal writing and sponsorship acquisition expertise
- Digital marketing and branding knowledge
