Job Description

Kshamadevi Group is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Account Officer with a strong background in the construction industry. The candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, supporting project accounting, ensuring compliance, and maintaining proper coordination with vendors, clients, and stakeholders. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of construction processes and financial management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records and proper documentation
  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and reports
  • Perform bank reconciliations and manage account balances
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, taxation, and regulations
  • Support internal and external audits
  • Handle project-related accounting tasks and cost tracking
  • Coordinate with vendors, clients, and financial institutions
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
  • Review BOQs and support financial aspects of construction projects
Job Specification

Experience:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting within the construction industry

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Semi-qualified CA / ACCA or equivalent is preferred

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of construction processes, project lifecycle, and BOQs
  • Ability to read and interpret construction-related documents
  • Proficiency in Tally, Navigator, CRM tools, and MS Office
  • Good communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive working approach
