Job Description
Padma Jyoti Group is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Site Engineer (Civil) to oversee and manage day-to-day construction activities on-site. The role involves ensuring project execution aligns with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and timelines while coordinating effectively with contractors and site teams.
Key Responsibilities
Site Supervision & Execution
- Supervise daily construction activities to ensure work is carried out as per drawings, designs, and specifications
- Support smooth project execution and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks
- Coordinate with contractors, supervisors, and site workers for efficient workflow
Planning & Coordination
- Assist in planning work schedules and resource allocation
- Monitor site progress and provide regular updates to management
- Coordinate material delivery, usage tracking, and site logistics
Technical & Quality Control
- Interpret construction drawings and ensure accurate implementation
- Maintain quality control standards and ensure compliance with project requirements
- Ensure adherence to construction safety standards and best practices
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare daily/weekly site progress reports
- Maintain proper documentation related to site activities, materials, and work progress
Problem Solving
- Identify and resolve site-level technical and operational issues efficiently
- Work under pressure to manage unexpected challenges on-site
Job Specification
- Strong understanding of construction methods, drawings, and specifications
- Basic proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple site activities simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
