Purpose of the Role
To identify, pursue, secure, and renew contracts with local municipality offices for the collection of advertisement taxes on behalf of the Company. The role requires building and maintaining strong relationships with municipal officials, ensuring timely participation in procurement processes, and coordinating all activities necessary for contract award and renewal. This role majorly requires maximum utilization of phone calls to secure deals with municipality offices.
Key Responsibilities
Make maximum phone calls to municipalities to introduce the Company's services.
Build and maintain relationships with municipal officials.
Follow up regularly with prospective municipalities.
Arrange meetings and presentations with decision-makers.
Identify new contract and renewal opportunities.
Assist in preparing and submitting required documents.
Maintain records of calls, meetings, and follow-ups.
Achieve monthly targets for leads, meetings, and contracts.
Monitor municipalities for contract opportunities, tender notices, and contract expiry dates.
Monitor municipal notice boards, websites, newspapers, and other official channels for advertisement-tax collection tender/auction notices
Coordinate with municipalities regarding contract renewals, extensions, and new engagements.
Obtain tender documents, prepare submission schedules, and coordinate the timely submission of bids.
Assist in preparing technical, financial, and administrative documents required for tenders and contract negotiations.
Represent the Company during meetings, presentations, negotiations, and clarification sessions with government authorities.
Maintain and update database of municipalities, contract status, renewal timelines, and procurement opportunities.
Liaise with internal departments to ensure all compliance, legal, financial, and operational requirements for bids are met.
Perform other government liaison and contract acquisition duties assigned by management.
Build and maintain working relationships with Mayors/Deputy Mayors, Ward Chairs, Chief Administrative Officers, and Revenue Section officials across target municipalities
