Job Description
- Financial Oversight: Take charge of all accounting operations, including the creation and analysis of financial reports, ledgers, and statement and to ensure accuracy in figures, postings, and reports.
- Bank Reconciliation: Regularly perform bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial information by identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay well-informed of the latest financial laws and regulations and ensuring that all accounting activities comply with governmental and financial policies.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with management to formulate effective budgets and forecasts, aiding in financial planning and cost management.
- Payroll Management: Oversee the payroll system,and ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time while managing deductions and records.
- Accounts Management: Handle accounts payable and receivable, meticulously recording all transactions and resolving any discrepancies.
- VAT and Tax Compliance: Handle the company's compliances related to VAT, TDS, and other applicable taxes, including filing monthly VAT returns and ensuring timely payments and filings.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough analyses of financial data, highlighting trends and advising on potential areas for improvement and cost reduction.
Job Specification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- At least 2 years of proven experience as an accountant, preferably in the entertainment or hospitality sector.
- Profound knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
- Proficiency in Tally accounting software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
