Job Description

Tour Management & Customer Service:

  • Handle incoming tour inquiries via phone, email, and in-person visits.
  • Understand client needs and preferences to recommend suitable tour packages, destinations, and itineraries.
  • Prepare and present customized tour proposals and quotations.
  • Provide detailed information on destinations, visa requirements, travel insurance, and other travel-related services.
  • Follow up with clients to convert inquiries into bookings.
  • Manage tour bookings from inception to completion, ensuring all arrangements are confirmed and documented.
  • Address and resolve customer issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Handle all social media leads & give proper response to the queries, create posts and should be
  • able to process videos with related product content.

Ticketing & Reservations:

  • Manage bookings for accommodation, transfers, travel insurance, and other ancillary travel services.
  • Ensure accuracy of all booking details, including passenger information, dates, and pricing.
  • Stay updated on airline fares, rules, regulations, and promotions.
  • Process payments and issue invoices accurately.

Vendor and Airline Liaison:

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with airlines, hotels, tour operators, transport providers, and other travel vendors.
  • Negotiate rates and preferred agreements with vendors where applicable.
  • Communicate effectively with airlines and vendors to confirm bookings, make amendments, and resolve any operational issues.
  • Keep abreast of new products, services, and offerings from various suppliers.

Administrative & Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate and organized records of bookings, client interactions, and payments.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales, bookings, and other key performance indicators as required.
  • Assist with other administrative tasks related to travel operations.
  • Stay updated on travel industry trends, new destinations, and relevant regulations
Job Specification

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Travel and Tourism Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Additional certification in GDS (e.g., Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre) or IATA course is an advantage.

Experience:

  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in a travel agency, tour operator company, airline, or hospitality sector.
  • Fresh graduates with internship experience in travel or tourism can also be considered.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in computerized reservation systems (CRS) and Global Distribution Systems (GDS).
  • Good understanding of domestic and international destinations, airfare structures, and tour packaging.
  • Knowledge of visa processing, travel insurance, and travel regulations.
  • Competent in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Good negotiation and sales skills.
  • High level of customer service orientation.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
