- Develop and implement a comprehensive quality control strategy that aligns with the company's quality objectives and regulatory standards.
- Supervise and lead a team of quality control professionals, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to ensure the consistent execution of quality standards.
- Establish and enforce stringent quality control protocols and procedures for raw materials, production processes, and finished products.
Conduct regular inspections and tests to guarantee product quality and compliance with industry standards.
- Maintain detailed records and documentation of quality control activities, including test results, non-conformance reports, and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with production, procurement, and other relevant departments to identify and address quality issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Work closely with suppliers and vendors to ensure the consistent quality of raw materials and ingredients, including conducting supplier audits when necessary.
- Ensure strict compliance with food safety regulations, industry standards, and environmental requirements.
Stay updated on changes in regulations and industry best practices.
- Identify areas for process improvement and drive initiatives to enhance product quality and production efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Food technology or a related field, Masters preferred
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control, preferably within the food manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality control standards, food safety regulations, and quality assurance practices.
- Leadership and team management skills with a track record of ensuring product quality.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in quality control tools and software.
- Knowledge of safety and environmental standards.
