Job Description
Job Purpose
The Service Advisor serves as the primary point of contact between customers and the service workshop. The role ensures accurate understanding and recording of customer concerns, proper job card preparation, efficient coordination with technicians, and timely delivery of serviced two-wheelers while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Handling
Welcome customers courteously and understand their service or repair requirements
Listen carefully to customer complaints and record them accurately
Clearly explain service procedures, estimated costs, and delivery timelines
Job Card & Workshop Coordination
Prepare job cards with detailed customer complaints and technical observations
Coordinate with technicians for proper diagnosis and repair activities
Monitor service progress to ensure jobs are completed on time
Coordinate with the parts department to ensure spare parts availability
Quality & Delivery
Inspect completed work before final delivery
Ensure all customer issues are resolved satisfactorily
Explain completed work and provide maintenance guidance during delivery
Customer Satisfaction & Follow-up
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally
Conduct follow-up communication with customers when required
Documentation & Systems
Maintain accurate service records and billing information
Ensure adherence to company SOPs, safety standards, and CI guidelines
Use the Dealer Management System (DMS) effectively.
Job Specification
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in Automobile Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (Mandatory)
Experience
Freshers are also encourage to apply.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar position
Experience in authorized two-wheeler service centers preferred
Skills & Competencies
Strong communication and customer-handling skills
Good technical knowledge of two-wheelers (engine, EFI, electrical systems, etc.)
Ability to explain technical issues in simple, easy-to-understand language
Basic computer skills including DMS and MS Office
Strong problem-solving, coordination, and multitasking abilities
Professional appearance, positive attitude, and service-oriented mindset
