Job Description
A. Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement the company’s long-term vision, mission, and strategic plans aligned with the digital payment market in Nepal.
- Translate strategic goals into measurable business plans and monitor their execution.
- Identify new market opportunities and guide product and service innovation.
B. Regulatory Compliance & Governance
- Ensure full compliance with all Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) regulations and related legal requirements.
- Implement strong governance, risk management, and internal control systems including AML/CFT compliance.
- Maintain transparent reporting to the Board, shareholders, and regulatory bodies.
C. Financial and Business Performance
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to achieve profitability and growth.
- Oversee revenue generation strategies, cost optimization, and resource allocation.
- Present financial performance reports and growth projections to the Board.
- Ensure better ROI for company.
- Maintain strong financial discipline in the company.
D. Operations & Service Delivery
- Oversee end-to-end operations of payment services including transaction processing, settlement, reconciliation, and customer service.
- Ensure high system availability, cybersecurity, data protection, and operational efficiency.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track service quality and business outcomes.
E. Product & Technology Innovation
- Drive product development and innovation in digital wallets, payment gateways, merchant solutions, and related services.
- Stay updated on emerging fintech trends and ensure adoption of cutting-edge technology.
- Promote seamless user experience, system reliability, and security.
F. Partnerships & Stakeholder Relations
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with banks, merchants, telecoms, regulators, and technology partners.
- Represent the company in industry forums, public events, and policy dialogues.
- Communicate effectively with shareholders, investors, and external stakeholders.
G. Organizational Leadership
- Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing leadership team and staff.
- Promote continuous learning and performance excellence within the organization.
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, integrity, and customer focus.
Job Specification
Education
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience
Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience in payments, banking, fintech, or financial services. Proven track record in strategic leadership, business growth, and compliance management
Knowledge
In-depth understanding of payment systems, NRB regulations, AML/CFT, data security, and digital financial services ecosystem in Nepal
