Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Assistant Accountant to support daily accounting operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring accuracy in financial data.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform day-to-day bookkeeping activities
Process invoices, including verification and recording
Handle data entry tasks with high accuracy
Prepare and maintain ledger accounts
Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records
Use Excel for data analysis, reporting, and record maintenance
Assist in preparing financial reports and statements
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

Job Specification

Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good organizational and time-management skills
Ability to handle large volumes of data efficiently
Effective communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
Prior experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles
