Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), Head Office, Kathmandu: Since the following posts of Nepal Electricity Authority have to be filled permanently through written examination related to open competitive examination conducted by Public Service Commission; A formal application is invited from interested Nepali citizens who have reached the qualifications mentioned in the details. Candidates who have reached the prescribed minimum qualification will have to go to the website of Nepal Electricity Authority, www.nea.org.np, and apply through Online Application.

Types of Exams: Written and Interview.

Exam Fee:

• Officer Level: Rs.2000 for Level 10, Rs.1600 for Level 9, Rs.1400 for Level 8, and Rs.1200 for Level 7. If a candidate participates in more than one group of the same post, an additional fee of Rs. 500 will be charged for each group of level 5 to 10 and Rs. 400 for each group of level 7.
• Assistant Level: Rs.800 for Level 5, Rs.700 for Level 4, and Rs.600 for Level 3. If a candidate has to participate in more than one group of the same post, an additional fee of Rs. 300 will be charged for each group of levels 5 and Rs. 200 for the direct group of levels 4 and 3.

Officer Level:

• In the post of level 7: 21 years completed and not exceeding 35 years; however, in the case of women and candidates with disabilities, less than 40 years.
• For posts of level 8 or above: not exceeding 40 years of age.

Assistant level:

18 years completed and not exceeding 35 years in the post of levels 3, 4, and 4; However, in the case of women and candidates with disabilities, they should not exceed 40 years of age. However, there will be no age limit for permanent employees working in NEA.

Must be not ineligible to be a candidate as per the prevailing staff service conditions condition 2075 (with resources) of Nepal Electricity Authority.
