With a variety of course options available, opting a right career path is a challenging task for many students. Some students already have a clear idea of their interests and ambition, but most students stay in a dilemma on which subjects they should choose.

Whether you have already decided or you are still thinking, here we would like to list out few things you should consider before sending those applications:

• Make sure your interest and ambition align with the subject you are about to choose.

 

• Make sure you are able to cope with the subject chosen and the dedication it demands. If you are not sure, ask for guidance, find ways how you will be able to cope and train yourself.

 

• Think of the current job scenario as well the possible scenario in next 4- 6 years when you will complete your graduation. Does the subject you choose has a great career scope?

 

• Collect information about the financial commitments necessary during the course.

 

After +2, you can choose academic degrees in Arts, Science, Commerce or Humanities. Direct entry to professional courses like: IT (Information Technology), business administration, engineering, medicine, agriculture etc. is also available. You need to undertake an entrance exam to study these courses.

Various career options are also available for +2 students in sectors such as: government jobs, banks, army etc. However, there are several criteria (varies as per sector) that needs to be met to qualify for these jobs.
For students who wish to take career and studies side by side can apply for part time jobs as well.

The possibilities are endless but what matters the most is the choices you make. Passion and dedication will make a lot of difference in the end results of your choices.
