Job Description

Underwriting Expertise: Utilize deep understanding of insurance policies to underwrite non-life insurance for vehicles, projects, and commodities in the construction industry.
Claims Initiation: Facilitate the initiation and processing of insurance claims, ensuring timely and accurate settlements in accordance with policy terms.
Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis related to insurance premiums, claims experience, and cost-benefit assessments to optimize coverage and minimize risk.
Insurance Company Visits: Conduct periodic visits to insurance companies to support business needs, negotiate terms, and strengthen relationships.
Insurance Status Maintenance: Maintain accurate and updated logs of insurance statuses for over 200 vehicles, multiple projects, and various commodities.
Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with insurance companies to secure favorable terms and efficient claims handling.
Outgoing Personality: Engage effectively with new people and stakeholders in the insurance industry to support business conversion efforts.
Deadline Management: Work under pressure to meet deadlines while ensuring high standards of accuracy and efficiency.
Target Orientation: Drive towards achieving set targets related to insurance coverage, claims processing, and financial outcomes.
Lead Management: Maintain lead data and conduct timely follow-ups to capitalize on business opportunities and enhance insurance portfolio.
Communication: Ensure clear and timely communication with insurance staff, both internally and externally, to facilitate smooth operations.
Reporting: Provide daily reports to the office supervisor on activities, progress, and planning related to insurance matters.
Professionalism: Uphold professional behavior and attire at all times during interactions, visits, and office settings.

Job Specification

Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in non-life insurance, with a strong background in underwriting, claims initiation, and financial analysis.
Proven track record of managing insurance portfolios and delivering effective risk management solutions in a construction or related industry.
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with insurance companies.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines effectively.
Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving targets and delivering quality outcomes.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with stakeholders.
Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and insurance management software.
