Job Description
- Design high-quality layouts for newspapers, brochures, flyers, and packaging materials.
- Develop mock-ups and prototypes for product packaging.
- Prepare final designs for print (CMYK, bleeds, margins, crop marks).
- Create/edit designs with Nepali typing using fonts like Preeti, Kantipur, or Unicode.
- Collaborate with editors, printers, and marketing teams to ensure design accuracy.
- Maintain file accuracy and backup versions of all creative work.
Job Specification
- Education: +2 (Intermediate) minimum.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a press, publication, or packaging company.
- Software Skills: Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop. Bonus: CorelDRAW or packaging design tools.
- Typing: Able to type and design in Nepali (Preeti, Unicode).
- Understanding of prepress, offset printing, and packaging standards.
- Detail-oriented, creative, and comfortable working under deadlines.
