Position: Learning and Documentation Officer (Mid-Level)
Organization: Hamro Palo
Location: Kathmandu, with frequent travel to districts within Bagmati Province
Reports to: Project/Program Coordinator
Supervises: Project Assistants
Contract Duration: 1 year, renewable for up to 2 additional years based on performance

Key Responsibilities
Support the documentation and reporting of project activities, achievements, and lessons learned.
Collect, organize, and analyze program data to track outcomes and impact.
Prepare reports, case studies, and success stories for internal and external stakeholders.
Support the development of program learning materials, knowledge products, and resource tools.
Assist in monitoring and evaluating program implementation and effectiveness.
Collaborate with Project/Program Coordinators to ensure accurate and timely information sharing.
Support communication and storytelling initiatives that highlight program successes and challenges.
Assist in organizing workshops, learning sessions, and reflection meetings for program staff and participants.
Ensure all documentation is systematic, accurate, and aligned with organizational standards and priorities.
Supervise Project Assistants to support effective documentation and learning processes.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
Minimum 3 years of experience in program/project implementation, including at least 2 years in an officer-level position
Experience in documentation, reporting, and data management
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Desired Skills and Competencies
Proficiency in both Nepali and English (spoken and written)
Strong writing and analytical skills for reports, case studies, and presentations
Ability to manage data collection, analysis, and reporting processes effectively
Skilled in creating knowledge products and learning materials
Proficient in essential IT tools (MS Office, spreadsheets, and data visualization tools)
Ability to work collaboratively with program teams and stakeholders
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
