Job Description
Position: LAB TECHNICIAN
Location: Tulsipur
Qualification: +2/CMLT
Experience: 1-2 years in related field
Job Responsibilities:
1. Daily Laboratory Operations Management:
Assist in the smooth execution of daily activities within the laboratory.
Ensure the effective functioning of all laboratory equipment and instruments.
Support laboratory staff in maintaining efficient workflows and processes.
2. Equipment and Process Maintenance:
Ensure regular inspection, maintenance, and calibration of laboratory equipment.
Identify and troubleshoot any malfunctioning or issues with laboratory instruments and materials.
Coordinate repairs or replacements when necessary to maintain optimal operation.
3. Documentation and Record Keeping:
Accurately document and record all information related to tests, results, and laboratory processes.
Ensure proper storage of test records and patient information following established protocols.
Maintain an organized system for easy retrieval of data and reports.
4. Team Coordination:
Assist in coordinating daily tasks and activities among laboratory team members.
Ensure seamless collaboration among lab personnel for efficient operations.
Provide support to team members as needed, ensuring smooth workflow.
5. Quality Assurance and Standards:
Regularly inspect equipment, structures, and materials to identify and address potential causes of errors or inconsistencies.
Help implement and uphold high-quality standards for analytical test performance.
Participate in quality control processes and regular testing to ensure accurate results.
6. Test Performance and Adherence to SOPs:
Support all stages of test performance, ensuring compliance with pre-analytic, analytic, and post-analytic standards.
Strictly follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and accuracy.
Deliver quality service in all laboratory tasks, maintaining high accuracy in every phase of testing.
7. Confidentiality and Compliance:
Uphold patient confidentiality in accordance with industry standards and organizational policies.
Ensure proper handling, documentation, and reporting of sensitive patient information.
