Job Description
Position: Project Manager
Overall Purpose of the Job:
Project Manager is responsible for project oversight, project cycle management, technical guidance, monitoring/supervision, and developing/maintaining responsive engagement with provincial and municipal governments and internal/external stakeholders in Madhesh Province. The role ensures quality planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting to the Programs Manager.
Key Task and Responsibilities:
Provide Project Level Leadership:
Demonstrate strong leadership and team management skills.
Ensure effective coordination, collaboration, and communication among stakeholders.
Translate strategic goals into actionable project plans.
Apply sound decision-making and problem-solving in dynamic environments.
Strengthen staff capacity through learning and use of national and WHO tools.
Ensure implementation of TLMN core policies, including safeguarding.
Project Implementation:
Provide managerial and capacity-building support for project implementation.
Align project activities with national leprosy and TLMN strategies.
Represent the project in provincial and municipal coordination forums.
Provide technical oversight for work plans, budgets, and M&E plans.
Monitor grant financial management and project delivery.
Review progress updates and financial reports.
Coordinate and supervise technical capacity building for staff and partners.
Support annual staff training plans in collaboration with HR.
Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning:
Act as data custodian and maintain project data systems.
Establish systems for monitoring and continuous improvement.
Report project progress monthly, semiannually, and annually.
Ensure effective coordination with partners.
Ensure complaint handling and feedback mechanisms function properly.
Coordinate regularly with TLM Nepal offices.
Accountability:
Demonstrate accountability in decision-making and resource management.
Hold teams and partners accountable for performance and results.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Line Manager.

Person Specification:
MBBS with Master’s in Public Health or related discipline and minimum 5 years’ experience.
At least 3 years’ experience in leprosy and/or LF programs.
Strong understanding of country-led health strategies.
Experience across health, disability, and education sectors preferred.
Established professional relationships with key sector stakeholders.
Strong coordination skills with government, donors, and partners.
Ability to lead and influence across multiple teams and levels.
