We invite you to join us as an Academic Counselor to guide and support students across our diverse programs including Culinary Arts, BHM, BBA, MBA, Plus Two, and Short-Term Courses. In this role, you will engage with prospective students, offering personalized academic guidance, assisting with admissions, and promoting student success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized academic and career counseling to prospective and enroll students for programs such as Culinary Arts, BHM, BBA, MBA, Plus Two (+2), and various short-term courses.
- Understand student needs, goals, and preferences to guide them toward appropriate academic paths.
- Counsel students and parents on admission requirements, course structures, and career outcomes.
- Respond promptly to admission inquiries via phone, email, or walk-ins.
- Maintain follow-ups with leads to convert inquiries into enrollments.
- Guide students through application and documentation processes.
- Assist with entrance tests, interviews, and orientation programs.
- Maintain accurate counseling records, student databases, and daily reports.
- Coordinate with academic departments and faculty members for course-related queries.
Job Specification
- Bachelor's degree (required); Master’s degree in Education, Psychology, Management, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in student counseling, admissions, or educational advising (college-level preferred).
- Excellent communication (English and Nepali), interpersonal, and persuasive skills.
- Strong understanding of academic programs in hospitality, business, and management education.
