Aarambha Sanskar Vidyalaya (ASV) is seeking a professional, courteous, and service-oriented Front Desk Officer to serve as the first point of contact for students, parents, visitors, and staff. The ideal candidate will manage the school's reception, coordinate communications, maintain administrative records, and provide efficient front-office support while ensuring a welcoming environment and compliance with school safeguarding procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Reception & Visitor Management
- Welcome and assist students, parents, guardians, visitors, and stakeholders in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage the reception area to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.
- Register visitors, issue visitor passes, and ensure adherence to school security and child safeguarding protocols.
- Respond to general enquiries and provide accurate information regarding school services and procedures.
Communication & Coordination
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls, emails, and other communications promptly and professionally.
- Relay messages accurately to the appropriate departments and personnel.
- Coordinate appointments, meetings, and schedules for the Principal, Vice Principals, Coordinators, and Administration Department.
- Maintain meeting room bookings and front-office calendars.
Administrative Support
- Assist with admissions enquiries by providing information and distributing or collecting application forms.
- Support day-to-day administrative activities including document preparation, filing, photocopying, scanning, and correspondence.
- Maintain and update front-office records, registers, notices, and documentation.
- Ensure confidential handling of sensitive information and student records.
Office Operations
- Coordinate courier deliveries, incoming and outgoing mail, and document dispatch.
- Monitor office supplies related to the reception area and coordinate replenishment when required.
- Support school events and administrative activities as assigned.
- Perform other administrative duties assigned by the Administration Department.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Nepali and English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general office applications.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Professional appearance and excellent customer service orientation.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
- Prior experience in reception, front desk, customer service, or school administration will be an added advantage.
