Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales/Nutrition Representative to promote and sell our products to healthcare professionals, retail outlets. The successful candidate will be responsible for educating customers about the products, achieving sales targets, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and enhancing brand awareness within the assigned region. This role requires a proactive, customer-focused approach to deliver exceptional service, drive product growth, and foster long-term trusted partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
Engagement:
- Educate health professional on the nutritional value, clinical applications, and unique benefits of Danone products.
- Organize and conduct product presentations, workshops, and CMEs (Continuing Medical Education sessions).
Sales & Business Development:
- Promote and sell the products to pharmacies, hospital area, distributors and retailers.
- Identify and develop new opportunities for product penetration in hospital pharmacy, pediatric clinics, and maternity care centers.
- Appointing new dealers, ensuring the availability of goods in the market, and collecting relevant data to support business operations.
- Conduct product presentations and provide educational resources to healthcare professionals and customers.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets, ensuring consistent business growth.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing customers.
- Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions to meet those needs.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
Market Research & Competitive Analysis:
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities, providing insights to the sales team.
Promotional Activities:
- Support marketing efforts by assisting in the implementation of promotional campaigns and events.
Reporting & Administration:
- Maintain accurate sales records and prepare regular reports on sales performance, customer activity, market trends and stock reports
- Ensure all documentation and contracts are completed accurately and submitted on time.
- Maintain accurate records of doctors, matrons, and other healthcare visits, interactions, and follow-ups.
- Ensure all promotional practices are ethical and compliant with healthcare marketing standards and company policies.
Job Specification
- Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Science, Pharmacy, or a related field (preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline will also be considered.
- 2+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the healthcare, nutrition, pharmaceutical or FMCG- Healthcare sector.
- Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Ability to influence and build trust with healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Customer-focused with excellent relationship-building skills
- Knowledge of the infant nutrition market is a plus.
