Gender and Social Mobilization Specialist

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

• Master's degree in gender studies, sociology/anthropology or other relevant subject.
• At least three years of experience in a similar capacity is required.

Key responsibilities:

Sankalpa - collaborative commitment for participatory and gender-responsive budgets is a project funded by the European Union, the Austrian Development Cooperation and CARE over a period of three years. The position of Gender and Social Mobilization Specialist (G&SMS) will have the overall responsibility for the technical aspects of the project related to gender and social inclusion and participatory budgeting. S/he will be supporting and coordinating for partners’ capacity enhancement as well as preparing training materials and managing or/and facilitating training to project staff, partners, community groups, peer CSOs and local government stakeholders.
