Job Description

Responsible for managing and maintaining the organization’s IT infrastructure, systems, servers, networks, hardware, software, and security equipment. Provides technical support, troubleshooting, user setup, asset management, and maintenance of computers, printers, CCTV, telephone systems, access control, and other IT facilities to ensure smooth and reliable operations.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Administer/ manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all current IT system
  • Ensure Server Management (including backup, security etc) is done effectively
  • Inventory and asset management for all IT and production equipment
  • Ensure Server Management (including backup, security etc) is done effectively
  • User desktop, laptop, printer, scanner maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Installing and configuring hardware and software components to ensure usability
  • Troubleshooting hardware and software issues
  • Providing support to users and being the first point of contact for error reporting
  • Configuration and setup of new laptops
  • Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, photocopy Machines and scanners
  • Monitoring and maintaining telephone landline systems and networks
  • Monitoring and maintaining Surveillance Camera (CC Camera) and networks
  • Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
  • Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
  • Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone)
  • Setting up accounts for new users, door access, maintaining AC and AMC.
  • Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
  • Testing new technology

 

Job Specification
  • Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years experience in this field
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong verbal and written communication skills in both Nepali and English
  • Should be able to smartly handle responsibility listed.
  • Decent understanding of Information Technology industry practices.
  • Knowledge of network infrastructure, including CAT5/6 cabling, wireless networks, network switches, WAN/LAN, domain controller, Active Directory, firewall and VPN applications.
