Yeti Paints Nepal Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Lab Assistant to support routine laboratory activities and assist the laboratory/quality team with sample handling, testing support, documentation, and maintaining laboratory equipment and work areas.
The candidate should have a Science background, basic computer knowledge, and the ability to follow laboratory procedures carefully and accurately.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist laboratory personnel with routine laboratory activities and testing procedures.
- Prepare, collect, label, and organize samples as instructed.
- Support laboratory staff in carrying out routine quality and product-related tests.
- Handle laboratory materials, samples, and equipment carefully and according to established procedures.
- Maintain proper records of samples, test results, observations, and laboratory activities.
- Assist in preparing materials and equipment required for laboratory testing.
- Clean and maintain laboratory equipment, tools, and work areas.
- Ensure laboratory materials and samples are properly stored and identified.
- Follow laboratory safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized working environment.
- Report equipment issues, irregularities, or unusual test observations to the concerned laboratory personnel.
- Assist with basic data entry, documentation, and preparation of laboratory reports.
- Use computer systems for maintaining laboratory records and documentation.
- Support the laboratory/quality team in day-to-day activities as assigned.
