Job Description

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will oversee the company’s daily operations, ensuring all departments function efficiently and effectively. This role involves collaborating with the executive team to implement operational strategies that align with the company’s mission, drive business growth, and improve operational performance. As part of the leadership team, the CEO will take responsibility for financial oversight, team leadership, stakeholder communication, compliance, and risk management. Additionally, the CEO will play a key role in overseeing the operations of the SkyWalk Tower, Nepal’s premier tourist attraction, ensuring safety standards, operational excellence, and an exceptional visitor experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning & Execution:

Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve the company's long-term objectives.
Collaborate with the CEO and other executives to align operational goals with the company’s mission.
Monitor performance and suggest improvements in operational strategies.

Operational Management:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring all departments are functioning effectively and efficiently.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives and best practices to optimize performance.
Ensure the smooth operation of the SkyWalk Tower, ensuring both safety and an exceptional visitor experience.

Financial Oversight:

Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting to maintain the financial health of the company.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize resource allocation across departments.

Team Leadership and Development:

Lead, mentor, and develop senior management and staff.
Foster a culture of high performance, teamwork, and growth within the company.
Develop training and development programs for staff to enhance skills and performance.

Stakeholder Communication:

Serve as a communication bridge between the board of directors, CEO, staff, and external stakeholders.
Ensure transparent and timely communication throughout the organization.

Compliance and Risk Management:

Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards, especially in the tourism sector.
Develop strategies to mitigate operational risks and maintain a safe work environment.

SkyWalk Tower Oversight:

Ensure operational excellence and safety standards at the SkyWalk Tower.
Monitor customer feedback and ensure the attraction offers a world-class visitor experience.

Job Specification

Education:

Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
Additional certifications or training in operational management, tourism, or hospitality management is preferred.

Experience:

Minimum 8 years of experience in operational leadership roles, with at least 5 years in a senior management position.
Proven track record of managing complex operations, ideally within the tourism, hospitality, or large-scale project management sectors.
Experience in overseeing high-profile or unique projects like the SkyWalk Tower is a plus.

Skills & Abilities:

Leadership: Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to inspire, manage, and motivate cross-functional teams.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute long-term operational strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Operational Excellence: Deep understanding of operational processes, best practices, and continuous improvement techniques.
Risk Management & Compliance: Knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and risk management techniques.
Stakeholder Management: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Customer Focus: Ability to ensure customer satisfaction, particularly within the context of a major tourist attraction like the SkyWalk Tower.

The CEO may be required to attend meetings or manage operations during evenings or weekends depending on business needs.
