Job Description

Trinox Adhesives Nepal is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical MIS Officer to support the Sales Operations team by managing sales data, preparing business reports, and delivering actionable insights that drive informed decision-making. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, maintaining, analyzing, and presenting accurate sales and operational data while ensuring timely reporting of key business metrics across the organization. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical abilities, advanced Microsoft Excel skills, and experience in sales reporting, data management, and business analysis. This role plays a vital part in monitoring sales performance, tracking KPIs, supporting management reporting, and maintaining the integrity of business data.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Response & Online Calling Management Information System (MIS)

Sales Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare and distribute Daily Sales Reports (DSR), Weekly Sales Reports, Monthly Business Reviews (MBR), and other periodic management reports.
  • Consolidate sales data received from Area Sales Managers, Sales Officers, and regional sales teams.
  • Generate territory-wise, region-wise, dealer-wise, distributor-wise, and product-wise sales performance reports.
  • Monitor daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales achievements against business targets.
  • Analyze sales performance trends and provide actionable insights to management.
  • Prepare customized reports as required by senior management.

Data Management

  • Maintain and regularly update master databases for dealers, distributors, carpenters, customers, and sales personnel.
  • Ensure accurate recording of product information, pricing, promotional schemes, and sales transactions.
  • Verify data integrity and maintain consistency across all reporting systems.
  • Perform routine data validation and cleansing to eliminate errors and duplicates.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of company data.

Dashboard Development & Business Intelligence

  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and management reports using Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools.
  • Prepare dashboards covering:
    • Sales vs. Target
    • Regional Performance
    • Product-wise Sales
    • Dealer & Distributor Performance
    • Collection Status
    • Sales Trends and Growth Analysis
  • Identify sales patterns, business opportunities, and performance gaps through data analysis.
  • Present insights and recommendations to support strategic business decisions.

Sales Coordination

  • Collect daily sales reports and updates from field sales teams.
  • Follow up with Area Sales Managers and Sales Officers to ensure timely report submissions.
  • Coordinate with the Accounts, Finance, Logistics, Warehouse, and Marketing teams to collect and verify required business information.
  • Support the sales department with reports, presentations, and analytical data for meetings and business reviews.
  • Monitor sales team reporting compliance and communicate pending submissions.

MIS Documentation & Record Management

  • Maintain organized digital records of sales reports, dealer information, marketing campaigns, pricing structures, and promotional schemes.
  • Archive historical reports and ensure systematic documentation for future reference.
  • Maintain proper filing systems for all MIS-related documents.
  • Assist in preparing presentations and management reports for internal meetings and business reviews.

System & Process Improvement

  • Recommend improvements to reporting formats, data collection methods, and MIS processes.
  • Support automation initiatives to improve reporting efficiency and data accuracy.
  • Assist in ERP implementation, data migration, and system enhancements where required.
  • Continuously improve reporting tools and dashboards to meet evolving business needs.
Job Specification
  • Bachelor's degree in Management, Business Administration, Commerce, Information Technology, Statistics, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Additional certifications in Microsoft Excel, Data Analytics, Power BI, or Business Intelligence will be an added advantage.
  • 2–4 years of experience in MIS, Sales Coordination, Business Analysis, or Sales Operations.
  • Experience in FMCG, building materials, manufacturing, or distribution businesses will be preferred.
  • Hands-on experience working with ERP systems and sales reporting software is an advantage.
