Job Description
The Tour Director will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of tour programs. This role requires strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer experiences while managing tour operations efficiently.
Job Responsibilities
Lead and manage domestic and international tour operations.
Develop and implement tour itineraries and travel programs.
Coordinate with hotels, airlines, transport providers, local guides, and other travel partners.
Supervise Tour Officers, tour guides, and operational staff.
Ensure tours are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Resolve operational issues and customer concerns promptly and professionally.
Monitor service quality and implement improvements where needed.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and business partners.
Ensure compliance with travel regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
Prepare operational reports and evaluate tour performance.
Job Specification
Bachelor's degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least 3–5 years of experience in tour operations or travel management.
Proven leadership and team management experience.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Strong knowledge of domestic and international travel destinations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and travel management software.
Fluency in English and Nepali. Additional language skills are an advantage.
