Job Description

SY Panel is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Officer with strong Korean language proficiency to support procurement operations and communication with Korean suppliers and business partners. Candidates with knowledge of chemical products, procurement processes, and documentation will be given special priority.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the procurement process, including sourcing, purchasing, and supplier coordination.
  • Communicate effectively with Korean suppliers and partners through written and verbal correspondence.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain procurement-related documents, contracts, purchase orders, and reports.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely procurement of materials and supplies.
  • Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and procurement terms with suppliers.
  • Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong business relationships.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and applicable regulations.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
  • Assist in import-related procurement activities when required.
Job Specification
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Management, or a related field.
  • Fluent Korean language proficiency (spoken, written, and documentation) is mandatory and is the highest priority requirement for this position.
  • Good knowledge of procurement procedures, vendor management, and purchasing operations.
  • Candidates with knowledge of chemical products and chemical procurement will be given special priority.
  • Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple procurement tasks efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
  • Experience working with Korean companies or international suppliers.
  • Knowledge of import/export documentation and logistics will be an added advantage.
