Job Description
Air Ticketing & Reservations
- Handle domestic and international air ticketing for both corporate and individual clients
- Create, modify, reissue, cancel, and refund tickets in accordance with airline rules and regulations
- Manage PNRs, group PNRs, seat blocks, and prepare accurate fare quotations
- Verify passenger details, travel sectors, dates, and fare rules before issuing tickets
Sales Coordination & Client Handling
- Communicate with corporate clients such as manpower agencies, consultancies, and travel agents via phone, email, and WhatsApp
- Provide accurate fare quotations and follow up on pending inquiries
- Coordinate with marketing or sales staff where client handling and ticket issuance are managed by different team members
- Maintain strong and professional relationships with clients to support repeat business
Sales Entry & Margin Tracking
- Record all ticketing transactions, including:
Purchase price
Selling price
Margin
Payment status
- Ensure all issued tickets are properly reported and coordinated with the accounts department
- Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports
- Pending & Follow-up Management
- Maintain a pending report for fare inquiries where tickets are not yet issued
- Track passenger name, sector, deal date, and flight date
- Follow up with clients for ticket confirmation and payment
- Monitor unsold seats from group PNRs and report updates to management
Compliance & Internal Coordination
- Follow airline, BSP, and company ticketing procedures strictly
- Coordinate with the accounts team for payment confirmation before ticket issuance, where required
- Maintain confidentiality of client information, fares, and company systems
- Support audits and internal reviews when necessary
Job Specification
- Minimum +2 or Bachelor’s degree in Travel & Tourism, Management, or a related field
- IATA or professional ticketing training certification is preferred
Experience
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Ticketing or Reservation Officer
- Hands-on experience with:
- Domestic and international ticketing
- Corporate clients
- High-volume daily ticket issuance
- Experience working with Nepal-based travel agencies is highly preferred
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of GDS systems (Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre)
- Good understanding of airline fare rules, reissues, refunds, and penalties
- Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets
- Comfortable using WhatsApp Business and email for client communication

- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure, especially during peak ticketing hours
- Strong coordination and teamwork skills
