Job Description
We are hiring an Inbound/Sales Tour Officer to manage inbound travel inquiries and convert them into confirmed tour bookings. This role is for a candidate with at least two years of experience in the tourism and hospitality sector, focused on planning itineraries, coordinating services, and supporting revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Handle inbound tour inquiries via phone, email, WhatsApp, and walk-ins and respond with accurate tour information.
Prepare competitive tour quotations, including itinerary schedules, inclusions/exclusions, and pricing details.
Coordinate with guides, drivers, hotels, and service partners to confirm availability and lock bookings.
Build and manage inbound itineraries (transport, accommodation, sightseeing, and timing) according to customer requirements.
Follow up on leads and bookings using a structured pipeline to ensure timely confirmations.
Maintain booking records, customer details, and documentation in a clear and updated manner.
Support on-ground coordination for confirmed itineraries, including changes, rescheduling, and issue resolution.
Job Specification
Bachelor’s degree in Travel & Tourism Management, Hospitality Management, Business Studies, or a related field.
Two years of experience in inbound travel sales, tour operations, or customer booking management.
Strong working knowledge of tour pricing, inclusions/exclusions, and itinerary planning for inbound guests.
Proficiency in using Google Workspace and spreadsheets for quotations, tracking, and reporting.
Experience coordinating with hotels, transport providers, and local suppliers for confirmed service delivery.
Familiarity with common inbound travel documentation and booking processes in Nepal (as applicable).
Valid driving license is an advantage for any on-ground coordination needs.
Nice to Have
Experience selling niche packages such as cultural tours, trekking/hiking add-ons, or family/senior-friendly itineraries.
Familiarity with CRM or booking management tools used by travel agencies.
Multilingual ability (Nepali and English plus one additional language).
