Position- Senior Copywriter

Employment Type: Full-time; 9am to 6pm (Monday to Friday)

Experience: 3years+

Location: Lalitpur, Nepal

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a creative, strategic, and experienced Senior Copywriter to join our content and creative team. The ideal candidate will have strong writing skills, a sharp understanding of brand communication, and the ability to develop content that is both creatively engaging and aligned with business objectives.

The Senior Copywriter will be responsible for developing copy across multiple digital platforms, planning content calendars, contributing to content strategy, and working closely with Project Managers, designers, marketers, and other creative teams to deliver high-quality content for multiple brands and clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop compelling and high-quality copy for social media, digital campaigns, websites, advertisements, video scripts, brand campaigns, and other marketing materials.
• Create and manage content calendars based on client objectives, campaigns, trends, and platform requirements.
• Develop and execute content strategies aligned with brand positioning, target audiences, and marketing goals.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Designers, SEO Specialists, Performance Marketers, and other creative teams to ensure smooth execution of campaigns.
• Conduct research on brands, industries, competitors, audiences, and emerging trends to develop relevant and impactful content.
• Develop creative concepts, campaign ideas, headlines, taglines, captions, scripts, and other forms of marketing communication.
• Adapt tone, messaging, and writing style according to different brands, audiences, and communication platforms.
• Review and edit content to ensure accuracy, consistency, clarity, grammar, and adherence to brand guidelines.
• Handle multiple projects and clients simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute strategic and creative ideas for campaigns.
• Work with Project Managers to understand briefs, timelines, deliverables, and client requirements.
• Incorporate client and internal feedback and ensure revisions are completed effectively.
• Stay updated with digital trends, social media trends, cultural conversations, and emerging content formats.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Media Studies, or a related field.
• 3–4 years of professional experience as a Copywriter, Senior Copywriter, Content Writer, Creative Writer, or similar role.
• Prior experience working in a digital marketing agency, advertising agency, creative agency, or similar environment is preferred.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Strong copywriting and editing skills.
• Excellent command of written English.
• Strong research and information-gathering abilities.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office/Google Workspace and other content planning tools.
• Understanding of social media platforms and digital content formats.
• Basic understanding of SEO, digital marketing, social media marketing, and brand communication.
• Ability to use research, analytics, and content tools to support content decisions.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted writing and research tools is an advantage.

You should have a strong sense of language, storytelling, trends, and brand voice, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced agency environment where multiple clients and deadlines are managed simultaneously.
