Job Description

The Placement Coordinator will be responsible for managing training-to-placement activities, coordinating college outreach campaigns, conducting student counselling sessions, and building strong relationships with corporate employers for placement opportunities. The role requires strong communication, coordination, event management, and stakeholder engagement skills to ensure successful student placements and effective industry collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

College Campaign Coordination

  • Build and maintain relationships with colleges, training institutions, and academic representatives.
  • Arrange presentation sessions, career orientation programs, and awareness campaigns in colleges.
  • Represent the organization during educational and career-related events.

Student Counselling & Guidance

  • Conduct counselling and career guidance sessions for training students.
  • Support students in identifying suitable career paths, job opportunities, and skill development needs.
  • Guide students regarding CV preparation, interview readiness, and professional communication.
  • Maintain proper records and follow-ups of student counselling and placement status.

Placement Session & Fair Management

  • Plan and organize monthly placement preparation sessions for training students.
  • Coordinate with internal employees and trainers to conduct employability and job readiness sessions.
  • Organize placement fairs and hiring events after placement preparation sessions.
  • Ensure smooth execution of placement-related events including scheduling, employer coordination, venue setup, and participant management.

Corporate Client Coordination

  • Coordinate with corporate clients regarding placement fairs and recruitment requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with employers for placement partnerships.
  • Collect hiring requirements from companies and match suitable candidates accordingly.
  • Follow up with employers regarding interview feedback, hiring updates, and placement outcomes.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare placement reports, event reports, and student progress updates.
  • Maintain databases of students, employers, placement activities, and hiring records.
Job Specification
  • Bachelor’s degree in management, Human Resources, or related field.
  • Prior experience in agency-based companies, preferably in recruitment or talent acquisition-related role
