Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Vendor Manager to develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors while driving B2B sales and ensuring smooth logistics operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, negotiating with vendors, managing order fulfillment, and coordinating the end-to-end supply chain to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

B2B Sales

  • Identify and acquire new B2B clients to achieve sales targets.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with corporate customers and distributors.
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.
  • Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and close sales deals.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts.

Vendor Management

  • Identify, onboard, and manage vendors and suppliers.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, and service agreements.
  • Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
  • Maintain healthy relationships with vendors to ensure uninterrupted supply.

Logistics & Supply Chain Management

  • Coordinate procurement, inventory, transportation, and delivery schedules.
  • Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of products.
  • Collaborate with warehouses, transport partners, and vendors to resolve logistics issues.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment.
  • Optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Documentation & Coordination

  • Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, shipments, and contracts.
  • Coordinate with internal departments including Sales, Finance, and Operations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures.

 

Job Specification
  • Minimum +2 qualification; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience in Vendor Management, B2B Sales, Logistics, Procurement, or a related field.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Good knowledge of procurement, inventory, and logistics operations.
  • Proficient in MS Office; ERP knowledge is an added advantage.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and target-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
