Job Description

We are seeking a creative, organized, and proactive Digital Marketing Officer to manage the company's online presence across various social media platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, creating, publishing, and monitoring engaging content that enhances brand awareness, drives audience engagement, and supports the company's marketing objectives. The role requires strong communication skills, creativity, and an understanding of current social media trends and digital marketing practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with the company's marketing goals.
  • Create, edit, and publish engaging content, including graphics, photos, videos, reels, stories, and written posts across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, and X (Twitter).
  • Prepare and maintain a monthly content calendar.
  • Schedule and publish posts using social media management tools.
  • Monitor social media channels and respond to comments, messages, and customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Build and engage online communities to strengthen customer relationships and brand loyalty.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, designers, photographers, and videographers to develop high-quality content.
  • Capture basic photos and videos during company events, product launches, or promotional activities when required.
  • Stay updated with current social media trends, platform updates, and industry best practices.
  • Monitor competitors' social media activities and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Plan and execute social media campaigns, contests, giveaways, and promotional activities.
  • Assist in managing paid social media advertising campaigns when required.
  • Track key performance metrics including reach, engagement, impressions, followers, click-through rates, and conversions.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports with insights and recommendations.
  • Ensure all published content aligns with the company's branding guidelines and communication standards.
  • Maintain consistency in tone, messaging, and visual identity across all digital platforms.
Job Specification
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication, Journalism, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or content creation. Fresh graduates with a strong portfolio may also be considered.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of major social media platforms and their algorithms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative mindset with strong storytelling and copywriting abilities.
  • Basic graphic design skills using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Basic video editing skills using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, InShot, or similar software.
  • Knowledge of social media scheduling tools such as Meta Business Suite, Buffer, Hootsuite, or Later.
  • Understanding of social media analytics and performance reporting.
  • Familiarity with paid social media advertising is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of SEO, hashtags, and digital marketing best practices.
  • Photography and videography skills are an added advantage.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
