Job Description
Digital Nepal is seeking a skilled Academic Officer to lead the academic vision for our educational platforms and products. This role will serve as the academic leader during a short-term assessment period, focusing on curriculum alignment, digital learning content, and product integration. Based on performance, the candidate may be considered for a senior leadership role such as Chief Academic Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
Academic Strategy & Product Integration
- Design and develop academic structures, content standards, and curriculum frameworks for our learning platforms.
- Ensure all educational products (LMS, ERP, Online Exam Platforms, Admission Portals, Mobile Apps) are academically sound, learner-centric, and aligned with national and international standards.
- Provide strategic guidance to enhance institutional efficiency and student learning outcomes.
Content, Curriculum & Quality Assurance
- Oversee the development and review of digital learning materials, assessments, and interactive modules.
- Implement academic quality standards, evaluation frameworks, and feedback mechanisms.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and educators for content enrichment.
Research, Innovation & Academic Partnerships
- Lead research and innovation initiatives in EdTech, curriculum design, and digital learning.
- Identify and develop partnerships with schools, universities, and educational boards.
- Stay updated on emerging educational trends, EdTech methodologies, and policy developments.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Work closely with the Chief Business Officer to align academic and business strategies.
- Lead content and instructional teams to maintain high standards of performance.
- Represent Digital Nepal in academic forums and collaborations.
Job Specification
- Master’s degree in education, Educational Technology, Curriculum & Instruction, or related fields.
- Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in education, EdTech, or related discipl
- Minimum 5 years in education management, curriculum development, or EdTech leadership roles.
- Proven expertise in curriculum design, digital pedagogy, and learning assessment.
- Experience with LMS, ERP, and educational content platforms.
