Job Description
  • Handle enquiries from international clients and travel agents promptly and professionally.

  • Design customised tour itineraries based on client preferences, budget, and duration.

  • Coordinate all travel arrangements, including hotels, transport, guides, and activities.

  • Manage bookings, reservations, and confirmations with vendors and partners.

  • Provide accurate information about destinations, culture, permits, and travel requirements.

  • Welcome and assist tourists upon arrival and ensure smooth tour operations.

  • Monitor ongoing tours and ensure quality service delivery throughout the trip.

  • Handle customer complaints, emergencies, and last-minute changes efficiently.

  • Maintain regular communication with clients before, during, and after the tour.

  • Negotiate rates and contracts with hotels, transport companies, and service providers.

  • Prepare costings, quotations, and invoices for tour packages.

  • Ensure proper documentation, including permits, insurance, and travel records.

  • Coordinate with guides, drivers, and the operations team for smooth execution.

  • Collect feedback from clients and work on service improvement.

  • Promote and upsell additional tours, activities, or services.

  • Maintain records of bookings, client data, and sales reports

Job Specification
  • Bachelor’s degree in tourism, hospitality, travel management, or a related field.

  • Prior experience in inbound tourism, a travel agency, or tour operations is preferred.

  • Excellent knowledge of local destinations, culture, heritage, and tourist attractions.

  • Strong communication skills in English; additional foreign languages are an advantage.

  • Proficiency in travel booking software, online reservation systems, and MS Office.

  • Customer service and interpersonal skills to handle diverse international clients.

  • Negotiation and vendor management skills for hotels, transport, and guides.

  • Ability to plan, organise, and execute customised itineraries efficiently.

  • Problem-solving and crisis management skills for emergencies or schedule changes.

  • Attention to detail in tour arrangements, documentation, and payments.

  • Sales and marketing skills to promote tour packages and upsell services.

  • Time management skills to handle multiple tours and clients simultaneously.

  • Flexibility to work during weekends, holidays, and peak tourist seasons.

  • Honest, professional, and culturally sensitive personality.
