The Logistics Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring the movement of goods from origin to destination. This role ensures timely, cost-effective, and compliant transportation while maintaining strong relationships with vendors, transporters, and customers.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and manage domestic and international logistics operations
Coordinate shipments with transporters, freight forwarders, and customs agents
Monitor inbound and outbound shipments to ensure on-time delivery
Manage logistics costs and optimize transportation routes
Ensure compliance with customs, export/import, and regulatory requirements
Prepare and verify shipping documents (Invoice, Packing List, BL/AWB, etc.)
Resolve shipment delays, damages, or discrepancies
Maintain accurate logistics records and reports
Coordinate with sales, warehouse, and finance teams
Evaluate and negotiate contracts with transport vendors
Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
Job Specification
Bachelor’s degree or master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
Minimum 4-5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management
Strong knowledge of transportation, warehousing, and export/import procedures
Familiarity with customs regulations and trade compliance
Proficiency in MS Office and logistics software
