Job Description

The Logistics Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring the movement of goods from origin to destination. This role ensures timely, cost-effective, and compliant transportation while maintaining strong relationships with vendors, transporters, and customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and manage domestic and international logistics operations
  • Coordinate shipments with transporters, freight forwarders, and customs agents
  • Monitor inbound and outbound shipments to ensure on-time delivery
  • Manage logistics costs and optimize transportation routes
  • Ensure compliance with customs, export/import, and regulatory requirements
  • Prepare and verify shipping documents (Invoice, Packing List, BL/AWB, etc.)
  • Resolve shipment delays, damages, or discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate logistics records and reports
  • Coordinate with sales, warehouse, and finance teams
  • Evaluate and negotiate contracts with transport vendors
  • Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs

Job Specification
  • Bachelor’s degree or master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management
  • Strong knowledge of transportation, warehousing, and export/import procedures
  • Familiarity with customs regulations and trade compliance
  • Proficiency in MS Office and logistics software
