Job Description

The Barista will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, maintaining café cleanliness and hygiene standards, and delivering excellent customer service. The ideal candidate should have a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
  • Operate coffee machines and other café equipment efficiently and safely.
  • Ensure beverages are prepared according to company quality standards and recipes.
  • Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, professional service.
  • Take customer orders accurately and assist with product recommendations when required.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the café, workstations, equipment, and seating areas.
  • Monitor stock levels and inform management when supplies need replenishment.
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
  • Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth café operations.
  • Assist in opening and closing duties as assigned.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns professionally to ensure customer satisfaction.

     
Job Specification
  • Must have completed Intermediate (+2) or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a café, coffee shop, restaurant, or hospitality-related role.
  • Candidates with barista training or previous coffee-making experience will be given preference.
  • Basic knowledge of coffee brewing methods and café operations is desirable.

Working Hours:
The selected candidates will be assigned to one of the following shifts based on business requirements:

  • Morning Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Evening Shift: 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM
