Position Overview:
Seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Finance Manager to lead its financial operations. The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance in line with Nepal Financial Reporting Standards.
Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial models
Oversee all accounting functions including AR, AP, GL, bank reconciliations, and payroll
Monitor cash flow, manage working capital, and optimize cost efficiency
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and board review
Ensure compliance with tax regulations, financial audits, and statutory requirements (VAT, TDS, Income Tax, etc.)
Manage relationships with banks, auditors, vendors, and government authorities
Provide financial insight and risk analysis to support business decisions
Lead and mentor the finance team to ensure accuracy, productivity, and compliance
Assist in import documentation and currency exchange-related matters
Coordinate with logistics and operations teams to ensure accurate costing and margin analysis
Implement and monitor internal controls and process improvements
Job Specification
Education & Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA/MBS preferred)
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in a finance/accounting managerial role
Experience in import-based trading or consumer electronics industry preferred
Sound knowledge of Nepali tax laws, financial compliance, and regulatory requirements
Skills and Competencies:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems)
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
Strong interpersonal, communication, and team leadership skills
High level of integrity and professional ethics
