Job Description
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Junior Ticketing Officers (International Ticketing) to join our travel agency in Thamel, Kathmandu. The ideal candidates will handle international flight reservations, provide excellent customer service, and contribute to sales growth. Both experienced and fresher candidates with training in travel-related institutes are welcome to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Ticket Reservations and Sales:
Process ticket reservations for international flights worldwide.
Provide information on flight schedules, availability, fares, and travel policies.
Handle booking modifications, ticket exchanges, refunds, and reissues.
Maximize sales by converting inquiries into confirmed bookings.
Customer Service:
Respond to customer inquiries professionally regarding flights, baggage policies, and travel requirements.
Handle complaints and provide effective solutions.
Offer alternative travel options in case of cancellations or delays.
Follow up with customers for reconfirmation, rescheduling, and other post-booking services.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of bookings, transactions, and payments.
Prepare and submit daily sales and operational reports to the Ticketing Manager.
Compliance and Coordination:
Ensure compliance with airline regulations, aviation rules, and travel advisories.
Coordinate with airlines, travel agents, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations
Job Specification
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or above.
Experienced, fresher, or trained/interned at any travel-related institute.
Technical & Professional Skills:
Basic knowledge of GDS booking systems (Sabre, Galileo, Amadeus) or any of them.
Basic understanding of aviation, travel, and tourism industries.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Familiarity with online travel agency platforms (OTA).
Computer literacy and reservation software proficiency.
Goal-oriented and capable of achieving sales targets.
Languages:
Good command of English, Hindi, and Nepali (speaking, reading, writing).
Interpersonal Skills:
Flexibility, punctuality, and ability to work under pressure.
Effective teamwork, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Polite, sincere, and professional demeanor with a dynamic personality.
Quick learner with the ability to handle customer service efficiently.
