Job Description

We are hiring a Delivery Rider for a reputed multinational distributor in Nepal. You will impact order fulfillment by ensuring correct, timely deliveries and safe driving across assigned routes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pick up and deliver distributor shipments to assigned customers using approved delivery routes
  • Verify delivery details (customer name, address, quantity, and invoice/receipt) before dispatch and on delivery
  • Ensure safe driving practices and strict adherence to traffic rules during every trip
  • Use navigation tools to follow the most efficient route and manage route changes when roads or conditions change
  • Maintain delivery proof (customer signature, stamp, or other required acknowledgement) and submit daily delivery updates
  • Provide basic customer service at delivery points, including handling delivery confirmations and resolving minor delivery issues
  • Manage daily schedules effectively to meet dispatch and delivery timelines without compromising safety
Job Specification
  • Valid driving license (appropriate class for motorcycle/vehicle used) with a clean and current status
  • Safe Driving & Traffic Rule Knowledge — strong understanding of Nepal traffic rules, defensive driving, helmet/seat discipline, and safe riding practices
  • Navigation skills — ability to use mobile maps/GPS or route planning tools to locate addresses and follow efficient routes
  • Effective Time Management — ability to follow shift timelines, plan stops, and deliver within target time windows
  • Customer Service — courteous behavior during delivery, accurate confirmation of deliveries, and basic issue handling with customers
  • At least a passed SLC/SEE or equivalent; additional education is a plus
  • Freshers are welcome; prior delivery/riding experience is not required but will be considered

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with common delivery areas in your assigned district/route (local route knowledge)
  • Experience using delivery apps, digital receipts, or scanning tools for confirmation
  • Ability to assist with vehicle checks (fuel, lights, brakes, tires) and report issues promptly

What We Offer

  • Structured onboarding and route training for safe, accurate deliveries
  • Daily operational guidance and clear delivery procedures for freshers
  • Supportive work environment with performance-based feedback
  • Necessary compliance and safety expectations aligned with distributor delivery operations
