Job Description
Tiffin Batta is seeking a skilled and dedicated Chef specializing in Nepali and Indian cuisine. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, maintaining kitchen hygiene, and ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook authentic Nepali and Indian dishes
- Plan daily menus and ensure timely food preparation
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen
- Monitor food quality, taste, and presentation
- Manage kitchen inventory and minimize food wastage
- Supervise kitchen helpers and coordinate effectively with the team
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
Job Specification
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef specializing in Nepali and Indian cuisine
- Strong knowledge of spices, ingredients, and traditional cooking techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good time management and teamwork skills
- Physically fit and able to work extended hours when required
Duty Schedule:
- Working Days: Sunday to Friday
- Working Hours: 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Overtime: As required based on operational needs
