Mathematics Teacher (Primary School)

Gems Group is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher for the Primary School level. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging mathematics lessons, strengthening students’ foundational numeracy skills, and fostering logical thinking in a supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and deliver well-structured lesson plans aligned with the prescribed curriculum.
• Teach mathematical concepts using interactive, age-appropriate, and practical teaching methods.
• Correct assignments, assess student work, and provide timely and constructive feedback.
• Provide academic guidance and additional learning support to students when required.
• Conduct, monitor, and supervise examinations and classroom assessments.
• Prepare question papers and evaluate examination results accurately.
• Maintain classroom discipline and promote a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere.
• Use digital tools such as MS Office, Google Classroom, and other educational software effectively in teaching and assessment.
• Participate in professional training programs and continuous development activities organized by the school.

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics or a related discipline.
• Teaching experience at the primary school level is preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Practical knowledge of MS Office, Google Classroom, and basic educational software.
• Excellent classroom management and student engagement skills.
• High sense of integrity, professionalism, and a positive attitude toward learning and growth.
